Q - The Songs of Martin & Biello is a loving, sexy, irreverent, and deeply joyous expression of life from an LGBT perspective. Written to celebrate Martin & Biello’s 25th anniversary as songwriters and life -partners, Q features 14 original songs that span more than two decades of their collaboration - from the late 70’s through the present - reflecting themes that parallel the queer community’s - erotic liberation - coming out - the joys and challenges of relationships - losses to AIDS - and the ongoing quest for spiritual insight and joy.

Q is performed by a cast of five actor/singers - 2 women, 2 men, and a 3rd man who plays the recurring character of Tipsy (click thumbnail to the right to see full image), a self described “transgoddess” who dispenses advice with humor and attitude at her website - Qtips.com.

Premiered in 2000 at the Bailiwick Rep in Chicago where it ran for 9 weeks. Produced at the 2002 Philadelphia Fringe Festival. Winner of Philadelphia Weekly’s annual theater award for Best Original Music.
Contains one scene of nudity that honors the human body and spirit.
